"I liked chemicalX(remix)...a simple and hip chordal string sample arrangement, and the soft bouncy bass sound that accompanies it. I was struck by this track though I don't usually like stuff with a repetitive groove so much. Also all the sounds & samples were very nicely used...with a sense of space which is rare to hear...very nice. A great drum track too..." -STEVE TOPPING

"I'm working with David Penna, a killer fusion drummer out of New York. I was going from drummer to drummer, and it was so aggravating. But then I got an email from Steve Booke and he suggested that his friend David Penna could do the job. He sent me a CD of his playing and he's got some unbelievable chops, great feel, and impeccable timing. Finally, I found somebody that could play the tunes. Dave Penna knocked out all of the abrupt tempo changes in "Nerds" without a hitch. I put his tracks up against the drum programmed tracks and it was mind blowing how in sync it was." -RON JARZOMBEK

"I listened to the album a few times today and really enjoyed it! Great instrumental prog!" -DON CASSIDY

"Special note should also be awarded to David Penna for his contribution to the ever (some forty or so ?) changing tempos in Words For Nerds, which sounds like an easy copy and past exercise for a music programme and a minefield to master and play." -BOB MULVEY

"It was good playing with you...I think it was the best that group has sounded." -PAUL ADAMY
